Dear Colleagues,

The CIML will hold its 48th Meeting in Ho Chi Minh City, Viet Nam, from Tuesday 8 (morning) to Thursday 10 October 2013 (morning). It will be preceded by an OIML Seminar on the Mutual Acceptance Arrangement (MAA) on Monday 7 October 2013.

After the CIML Meeting, an RLMO Round Table will be organized on Fridy 11 October 2013 in the morning.

We invite you to be ready to take the floor during the CIML Meeting.

As you know, it is essential that the Committee has sufficient voting Members for a quorum. Therefore:

• if you are personally unable to attend this meeting, please advise Mr. Stephen Patoray, BIML Director, of the name of the individual in your Delegation you are designating to vote on behalf of your country;
• if you anticipate that you or your Delegation may be absent during any of the CIML Meeting sessions, please give a proxy to another CIML Member when registering online.

The BIML has prepared this web site for the Ho Chi Minh City meetings; it provides detailed information. Registration for attendance will again this year be online via this web site. The deadline for registering is 1 July 2013; if you are unable to register via the web site, please contact Mrs. Patricia Saint-Germain (Administrator, Members) at the BIML and alternative arrangements will be made.

Lastly, obtaining a visa may be a lengthy process so we urge you to make your application as soon as possible.
